The Lyndon House presents For Heather: New Shaped Paintings by Jason Matherly.  

This exhibit goes on view from June 18 - September 3, 2022.  

An artist reception is Thursday June 23rd from 6-8 pm. 

Jason Matherly's small works are intimate color blasts in geometric forms challenging the viewers sense of scale, shape and all the things that shape and size can do; curve, turn, straighten out and reveal the negative space where the wall meets art. 

Drawing on his years of work in an academic library, Matherly sources inspiration from a broad range of fields and research practices, as well as the everyday rhythms of family life. 

His works are held in private collections in New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.  He has exhibited works in New York, San Francisco, and, in the summer of 2022, in London at The Shard. Jason livesand works in Athens GA.
