ACC Animal Services Adoption Process:
All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the timestamp of the online application submitted through PetPlace.
Animals that arrive as strays are placed on a 5-day hold to allow time for their owners to reclaim them. During this period, stray animals cannot be adopted or transferred, but interested adopters may submit an application through their PetPlace profile to be considered once the hold ends.
What to bring to adopt:
- Valid photo ID (Driver's License or Passport)
- Proof of age (must be 18 or older to adopt)
- Payment (cash, credit or debit card)
