Responsibilities

The Purchasing Division coordinates procurement activities of the Unified Government and is committed to purchasing quality goods and services at the best possible value.

Purchasing is responsible for:

  • Bid and contract administration: To learn more about current bids or to determine the status of a bid, visit our bid and contract listing
  • Vendor relations and registration: Athens-Clarke County encourages companies to register to do business with the government; the first step in the process is to register your company by completing the bid list application
