Bicycle Ticket Diversion Program

This program is held at Athens Clarke County Municipal Court, 325 East Washington Street, Room 160 Athens, Georgia.

The BikeAthens Safety Course is held at 2:00 PM on the third Friday of every month.

  • * $30.00 for on-site registration (cash and money order only)
  • * No need to call ahead to reserve a seat.

The Safety Course starts promptly at 2:00 PM. If you are late, you may have to attend the next program.

If you are unable to make the program and your court date is before the next program, call the court to reschedule your court date until after the next program.

You will receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the program.

If you lose your certificate, you will have to attend another program or pay $10.00 certificate replacement fee (payable online).

Bicycle tickets issued after January 1, 2013, fines will be waived upon completion of Safety Course. Certificate must be turned into the Clerk's Office by the new court date.
