You don't have to be a professional scientist to help gather important scientific data- and have fun doing it! The following citizen science projects are ongoing at SCNC. Check the events calendar for training dates or contact the nature center for more information.

• FrogWatch USA: Learn to identify frogs and toads by their breeding calls, and submit reports on their activity.  You can monitor at the Sandy Creek site or register your own. Contact Kate at (706) 613-3615 to sign up or for more info.
• Adopt A Stream Workshop:  Learn how to give a stream a check up.Workshop covers chemical and macroinvertebrate monitoring.
