Bear Hollow Zoo Internships

Bear Hollow Wildlife Trail provides care for the animals who reside at the zoo and conducts educational programming for thousands of people annually. Programs are conducted onsite and offsite, and are offered in a variety of formats (field trip programs, tours, special events, exhibits at fairs and festivals, etc).

As a Bear Hollow Wildlife Education Programs Intern, participants are afforded the opportunity to learn and build the skills they will need to pursue a career in environmental education.

As a Bear Hollow Animal Care Intern, participants are responsible for the well being of the animals living in zoos. The job requires a keeper to routinely complete a number of tasks for the animals, such as bathing, feeding and exercising.
