The Atlanta Highway Corridor Improvement Project seeks to provide infrastructure improvements to help improve traffic flow, pedestrian access, and bicycle facilities between Monroe Highway and the Middle Oconee River. (Note: There is also a similar project for Lexington Highway).

ACCGov will utilize this first public comment period to help formalize a list of potential projects for further review. The potential projects list with Mayor & Commission at the July 7, 2020 voting meeting.
After Mayor & Commission approval of the potential project list, additional studies and data gathering will be developed for an additional round of public input to help develop a prioritized list of potential projects for Mayor & Commission consideration and approval. A general project schedule is provided in the presentation materials.
