Face Covers Required in Athens-Clarke County (Local Regulation)

  • Face coverings or masks are required by a local emergency declaration in entities or public places.
  • Face covers should cover the mouth and nose at all times where physical distancing measures may be difficult to maintain.

Tailgating on UGA Campus (UGA Policy)

  • Tailgating will not be permitted on UGA's campus this season
  • Fans will be allowed to gather near their vehicle with family members or those with whom they traveled and plan to sit with in the stadium.
  • Remember to maintain 6 feet of social distancing and to wear masks when around others who are not part of your group.
  • Parking lots on campus will open three hours before kick-off for each home game, and attendants will require all occupants in the vehicle to have tickets for the game.

Gatherings (Statewide Regulation)

  • Gatherings of more than 50 people are not allowed unless those in attendance can stand or be seated more than six feet apart.
  • Details in the Governor's Executive Order

Bar Requirements (Statewide Regulation)

  • Capacity is limited to 50 people or 35% of their fire capacity occupancy inside, whichever is greater.
  • Provide service only to seated patrons, or, if not applicable, to patrons in designated areas that are practicing Social Distancing.
  • Redesiged seating arrangements to ensure at least six (6) feet of separation from seating to seating or utilizing physical barriers to separate groups of seating within six (6) feet.
