NEW YEAR'S HOLIDAY SCHEDULE 2022
2022 New Year’s Day Holiday Schedule
- The Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department will collect garbage, recycling & leaf & limb collection on regular schedule for the New Year's Week.
- If you have residential service & commercial service with us outside of the downtown district your service will be picked on regular schedule. Please make sure your trash and recycling roll-carts are out on the curb by 7:30 AM on your pick up day.
- If you have commercial or residential service with us and are located within the Downtown District you will be picked up on regular schedule.

Annually, the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department will alter collection service for the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, MLK Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.
