The Administrative Services Unit is responsible for a range of department wide functions including:
Coordination of policy management and revision;
Personnel Management - acts as liaison with the Athens-Clarke County Human Resources in all matters involving member selection, hiring, payroll, equipment, investigation, discipline, complaints, and termination of employment;
Management of budget, finance and purchasing, collection and disbursement of funds;
The Internal Investigation Group - responsible for investigating all public grievances as well as all complaints of illegal or unprofessional staff conduct.
