2025 - Nonprofit Capacity Building Training Series
Full Description
About the Series
The Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) at ACCGov is excited to present the 2025 edition of its Cultivating Nonprofit Capacity in Athens (CNC Athens) program. This no-cost training series offers six targeted sessions aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness, leadership capacity, and program impact within Athens-Clarke County's nonprofit community.
If you're part of a small nonprofit, just getting started with ACCGov funding, or eager to brush up on the basics of nonprofit leadership, we invite you to join us. Each session will focus on key areas of nonprofit operations—from strategic planning to program evaluation—and will be led by experienced trainers who understand the unique needs of community-based organizations.
Participants will:
- Gain practical tools and insights from local and regional nonprofit experts
- Receive a certificate of attendance for each completed session
- Have the option to meet one-on-one with HCD staff for follow-up guidance and resources
We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to build your organization's effectiveness and impact.
Eligibility & Registration Details
This training series is open to staff, board members, or volunteers who work with nonprofit organizations serving Athens-Clarke County residents. Organizations operating in multiple counties are eligible as long as ACC is part of their service area.
Registration Details:
- Each training session requires individual registration.
- Due to space and budget constraints, attendance is limited to 25 participants per session.
- In order to accommodate as many nonprofits as possible, we request that each organization limit attendance to one representative per session.
- Registration for each session will open approximately one month before the session date and will close once the session is full. Early registration is strongly encouraged to secure a spot.
