No appointment for TIRE ONLY loads at the landfill during amnesty week. Customers taking tires to the CHaRM will need to make an appointment at: www.accgov.com/charm The Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful Board of Directors and the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department are sponsoring Tire Amnesty Week from March 1 to 6, 2021. Tires can be brought to the ACC Landfill (5700 Lexington Road) or to the CHaRM (1005 College Avenue). Both facilities will be accepting up to 6 passenger vehicle tires per customer. The recycling fee is waived during the amnesty event. Tires on rims will not be accepted at the amnesty event. If a tire is on the rim the fee is $10.00 per tire.
