Strategic Plan to Reduce & Prevent Homelessness Public Comment Period

In a continued effort to develop a well-informed strategic plan to reduce and prevent homelessness, the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government (ACCGov)—in collaboration with consulting firm The Cloudburst Group—is now seeking public comment on the final draft of the plan.
Between September 5, 2023, and October 3, 2023, residents will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the homelessness strategic plan during
1. A virtual presentation opportunity on Sep. 5 at 11:00 AM
2. Via four in person community forums
- Sep. 5 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Heard Park (1st floor Multipurpose Room)
- Sep. 13 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Snipes Water Resource Center
- Sep. 20 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM at ACC Library
- Sep. 20 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at ACC Library
