Green Life Exhibition
Wednesday, November 15, 2023
How are you going to be a Climate Champion in 2024? Create a work of art that illustrates action you can take to slow the speed of climate change and protect the planet that we love. We encourage you to create a painting, drawing, sculpture, take a photograph or write a poem to demonstrate how we can create a better and cooler tomorrow for everyone.
Athens-Clarke County PreK-12 grade students are encouraged to submit their artwork for the exhibition. You must fill out the application form for the submission and a physical copy of the submission must be turned in to the ACC Recycling Division. Please make sure that the physical artwork is labeled with the student's name and school. Only ONE submission allowed per student. Selections will be made based on grade level and medium category. The Teacher Reuse Store is free for teachers to shop for creative supplies that your students can use in creating their artwork. The store is located at 1005 College Ave. See the website for hours (https://www.accgov.com/6515/Teacher-Reuse-Store)
