Transit Fares return on July 15th

Attention transit passengers. Beginning July 15th, Athens-Clarke County Transit will return to charging fares for bus travel.

ACC Transit offers several options to pay for the ride. All buses accept cash, but no change can be given. Single and multi-ride passes are available at the Multimodal Center at 775 E. Broad Street and through your smart phone using the Token Transit App.

Youth 18 and under, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and Athens-Clarke County employees and UGA students and staff continue to ride fare-free, but should be prepared to show the appropriate ID.

A single ride for Adults ages 19–64 is $1.75 and a 22 ride pass is $31.00.

All passengers are strongly encouraged to wear a face mask while riding ACC Transit.
Thank you and stay safe.
