Hi there,
We’re excited to share our upcoming Coffee Together session hosted by Athens-Clarke County Government (ACCGov) in partnership with the Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH).
This session will feature Taneisha Brooks from Historic Athens, who will share how older homes can be preserved safely while supporting affordable housing and preventing displacement. Because many older homes may contain lead-based paint, the discussion will also cover how lead hazards are identified and addressed to help keep families safe.
You’ll also hear a brief overview of ACCGov’s Lead Hazard Reduction Capacity Building Program and how it supports families in reducing lead-related risks in their homes.
When: Thursday, January 29, 2025, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Athens Public Library | 2025 Baxter, Athens, GA 30606 | Community Resource Room A
Who: Taneisha Brooks, Historic Athens

We hope you’ll join us for this informative conversation over coffee!
Best,
