The Lyndon House Arts Center announces the online call for artwork submissions for the 51st Juried Exhibition.  The exhibition will be selected by Juror, Michelle Yun Mapplethorpe, Director and Chief Curator of the Katonah Museum of Art in Katonah, New York.

Submissions for the 51st Juried Exhibition will be received only online at ArtCall.org. The call for art submissions will be live from January 6, 2026  at 7:00 a.m. – January 20, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.  Opportunity to enter artworks for the exhibition will end on January 20 at 11:59 p.m. Please visit the Lyndon House Arts Center, call 706-613-3623,  or visit the Lyndon House Arts Center on Instagram and Facebook for the live link.

Athens area visual artists, 18 years and older, are welcome to submit up to three entries for consideration. An entry fee of $35 is required. Athens area includes the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Walton, and Wilkes. 

There will be an Application Clinic, for those who need in-person assistance with the online application process, from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Community Room at the Lyndon House Arts Center. No appointment is necessary. Attendees should bring all required materials in a digital format.

Juror selection will be completed by January 29, 2026. Delivery for works selected for the 51st Juried Exhibition to the Lyndon House Arts Center will be on Friday, February 13, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 14, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The 51st Juried Exhibition opens in the galleries on March 19, 2026. The exhibition will be on view through May 16, 2026.

All exhibitions are free of charge and open to the public.  Exhibitions are on view during regular gallery hours Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
