The Charity Drive Committee is made up of 9 ACC employees/retirees from different departments each serving three (3) year terms. Charity Drive Committee members apply for membership and are selected based on their professionalism, caring and ability to honor employee confidentiality.
The Athens-Clarke County Charity Drive solicits donations from ACC employees. These donations support various local charities and the Employee Emergency Assistance Fund which assists ACC employees facing financial hardship due to an emergency or serious illness. The ACC Charity Drive also organizes blood drives throughout the year for the American Red Cross and assists with ACC emergency relief efforts.
