Fishing is allowed along the North Oconee River at Dudley Park as long as individuals are using Georgia-legal equipment and have a Georgia Department of Natural Resources fishing license.

Small watercraft such as canoes, kayaks, and Inflatables are allowed on the North Oconee River at Dudley. The boat launch provides access to the North Oconee River, however river users should not travel down river past the Oconee St bridge. The remnants of Easley's Mill create a hazardous situation south of the Oconee St bridge with submerged obstructions and water recirculation.
