Athens-Clarke County worked with a consultant, HR&A Advisors, and the ARPA Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, to develop an Affordable Housing Investment Strategy. This strategy document will guide the decisionmaking process around affordable housing over the coming years. The final draft of the investment strategy was released on August 7, 2023 followed by a public comment period through August 30, 2023. A revised final draft of the plan and responses to questions and comments received through the public comment period are now available below. Mayor and Commission approved adoption of the plan during the October 3, 2023 Regular Session.
