What's happening at Sandy Creek Nature Center on the Greenway?

The Greenway Trail Safety Improvement Project starts at the beginning of the Greenway at Sandy Creek Nature Center and extends just past Walker Hall. This is Project 23 of the TSPLOST 2023 Projects. This project provided capital improvements for the existing North Oconee River Greenway Trail segment referenced above. This project included installation of new pavement, new striping, restoration of natural surface trail connections, and more.
