The Lyndon House Arts Center and Lyndon House Arts Foundation are pleased to announce Hallie Ringle, the Hugh Kahul Curator of Contemporary Art at the Birmingham Museum of Art, as the Guest Juror for the 46th Juried Exhibition.

Hallie Ringle is the Hugh Kahul Curator of Contemporary Art at the Birmingham Museum of Art where she's curated Celestia Morgan: REDLINE and Barbie: Dreaming of a Female Future. She was formerly Assistant Curator at The Studio Museum in Harlem where she curated Maren Hassinger: Monuments, Firelei Baez: Joy Out of Fire, Fictions, Rico Gatson: Icons 2007–2017, Video Studio: Meeting Points, Palatable: Food and Contemporary Art, and Salon Style. She is a fall 2018 Andy Warhol Curatorial Fellow. She has a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA from the University of Texas at Austin. 

New this cycle, submissions for the 46th Juried Exhibition will be received online only. The call for art submissions will be live from December 1, 2020 through January 22, 2021.   Please look for further information and instructions on our website and social media. The 46th Juried Exhibition is scheduled to open in the galleries on March 11, 2021 with Previews Days and timed entry tickets.

 to announce the opening of the fall series of exhibitions in the Arts Center’s galleries. We will be offering a Special Preview Opening with timed entrance on Tuesday September 8, 12:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday September 9, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Thursday September 10, 12:00 - 8:00 pm.

UPCOMING: The Lyndon House Arts Center’s fall exhibition series of 2020 focuses on community, resilience, transformation, and hope. In our main galleries, we are featuring four exhibits: The Art of Jeremy Ayers in the Lukasiewicz Gallery, Imagination Squared: Pathways to Resilience in the Lower Atrium, BOUNDLESS in the Upper Atrium and South Gallery, and Waterfall Plot in the West Gallery. Kendall Rogers, winner of the Arts Center Choice from the 45thJuried Exhibition, will show work in the Lounge Gallery.
