January 22, 2026 – March 21, 2026

Opening Reception: 5:30 PM, Thursday, January 22, 2026

This exhibition is a selection of artwork made over the past year in Creative Tracks, a new studio art program for residents of the ACC jail. Originally initiated by the Lyndon House Arts Center as a stand-alone class, this program is now integrated within the Reentry Quality Support Program administered by the Sherriff’s Office, with the mission to provide jail residents with the resources, education, and training needed to successfully transition back into the broader community.

Taught by artist, educator, and business-owner Kristen Bach, Creative Tracks is designed to enhance the well-being and rehabilitation of the students by providing a therapeutic outlet for self-expression and emotional release. Class projects include observational botanical drawings, zine-making, exploration of aqueous media, large collaborative drawings, and model-making, all with a focus on self-reflection and developing patience, perseverance, and constructive communication.

The Creative Tracks students come from a wide range of backgrounds, and while most have little formal art-making experience, they bring boundless creativity and a deep engagement with the materials. Through openness to listening, learning, and sharing their personal stories, the students are forging new creative pathways for themselves.
