Public CommentIn Person CommentsResidents are invited to provide public comment in person at Planning Commission meetings. Applicants and representatives of specified interest groups are provided ten minutes to address the Commission. All other speakers are provided three minutes. Written or Email CommentsWritten or emailed public comments received by the Planning Department no later than noon Wednesday, September 3rd will be forwarded to the Planning Commission for their consideration prior to the hearing. After this date, written comments may be read into the record at the hearing, subject to the previously noted time limits for addressing the Commission. Comments will also be forwarded to the Mayor & Commission.

Meeting PurposeThe purpose of the Planning Commission hearing is to be a forum for public comments in favor or in opposition to the proposal. After the Planning Commission hearing, the Mayor & Commission are tentatively scheduled to consider the request at their Agenda Setting meeting on September 16th with a final vote tentatively scheduled for October 7th. Public comment will be accepted at both the agenda setting and voting meetings.
