For Families
The Treatment and Accountability Court (TAC) participant will be required to go to appointments and attend meetings, so it would be helpful to be aware of transportation and time management needs. The participant may need medical treatment or may be on a medication schedule and would benefit from daily family encouragement to keep to a treatment plan. All TAC participants must live in a sober living environment.
For Employers
Persons participating in TAC report one or more times each week for appointments with the Coordinator and/or the Senior Case Management Specialist, and for court appearances before the Judge. Participants in higher phases of TAC may report less frequently. Compliance with all terms and conditions of the program is closely monitored, and the program offers a wide range of support to help participants live healthy and sober lives and be successful in the community. A person who is not in compliance with the program is subject to sanctions. The program will accommodate a participant’s work needs to the greatest extent possible.
