Consumer Confidence Report

The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also known as an annual drinking Water Quality Report, provides important information about the drinking water quality in Athens-Clarke County.  Your drinking water is tested for various organic and inorganic substances in strict adherence to state and federal regulations.  The results of these tests are compiled into the CCR and made available to customers by every July 1, as required in the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Safe Drinking Water Act.
