TEEN IN-PERSON CLUB: Teen Media Arts Club w/ Isaac Johnson
Tuesdays, March 2 – March 23, 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Ages 12 – 17, FREE with generous support from The Lyndon House Arts Foundation and ATHFEST Educates
Limited to 6 teens at a time in-person. We will maintain social distancing with everyone wearing a face covering and will check temperatures. We will do activities outside when possible. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
Students will engage in the process of videography by forming their own story ideas and then creating and editing digital video. Our long-term goal is to build media arts skills that support a variety of career options, higher order thinking, problem-solving, creativity, cultural experiences, and historical events in a global learning context. In addition we provide a safe place for young people to learn, have fun and create meaningful projects. Each session has 4 club meetings with the same 6 participants. Masks must be worn at all times.
Isaac Johnson is a local artist and filmmaker whose interests include analogue photography, cinematography, and being outside in the sunshine.
