Overview

• In the presubmittal phase of a project reach out to Building Inspections to verify questions regarding occupancy and construction classification, particularly if it is a mixed-use project.
• Cover sheer must include:
  1. Occupancy
  2. construction type,
  3. code Reference section
  4.  which automatically requires a resubmittal

• For mixed-use projects, a table, which breaks down the square footage and location(s) of each different occupancy and construction classification type, may be required at the time of Plans Review submittal.
• Plans for Commercial Plans Review must be stamped.
• A structural engineer will determine if special inspections are required, which ACC Building Inspections will verify during Plans Review.
