Non-Residential Sewer Use

Starting July 1, 2023, non-residential sewer use is equal to 100% of water consumption at a rate of $8.14 per 1,000 gallons. The sewer monthly customer service fee is $4.95.

Wastewater Surcharge Rates

Industrial and commercial water users that discharge high-strength waste to the wastewater system are charged a cost-recovery surcharge, based on the following:

Septage Disposal Rates (Permitted Companies Only)

The Cedar Creek Water Reclamation Facility accepts domestic septage from Athens-Clarke County, as well as the following counties when delivered by an ACC-based business: Jackson, Barrow, Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Madison. The following is the schedule of fees for the handling of the hauled waste.
