The Goal of Traffic Signal Operations is to provide for the safe and efficient movement of pedestrians, bicyclists, and motor vehicles through the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of traffic control systems. Our staff continually works to upgrade and maintain the traffic control infrastructure at its 164 signalized intersections. Preventative maintenance and regularly scheduled inspections are major factors for ensuring the safety of motorists and pedestrians as well as efficiency in travel. School zone flashers

Installing and maintaining fiber optic cable

Assist in collecting traffic data

Overhead traffic signs (as seen in photo)
