• Please see Solid Waste’s Plans Review checklist for a list of requirements that the Solid Waste Reviewer will be verifying to ensure plans met code.
• One of the most often overlooked items in Solid Waste Plans Review submittals is the location and specifications of any and all existing dumpsters and a written description of how the current trash and recycling dumpsters or carts will adequately serve the proposed project.
• Often plans require a condition of approval from the Solid Waste Department if the Commercial Recycling Plan had not been submitted. While this condition will not keep a plan from moving to permitting once all department, it is recommended to submit prior to submitting for Plans Review.
