Permit Application Forms

Effective July 1, 2022,  the water and sewer fees will increase.

Water and sewer fees effective July 1, 2022

Effective January 1, 2022, the base fees for all permits will increase from $75.00 to $80.00

Fees and charges effective January 1, 2022

Permit fees may be paid by cash, check, money order, American Express,Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Apple Pay

Checks should be made payable to: Athens-Clarke County

Building permit applications may be emailed to accbuild@accgov.com.

Electrical, Hvac, Gas, and Plumbing Permit Applications may be emailed or faxed to our office at 706-613-3527 and payment made by credit card.  Please email permit applications to accbuild@accgov.com

Temporary Fire Hydrant fees and water & sewer fees may be paid by cash or check only.
