Housing areas include one classification unit, five open dormitory units, two hybrid units mixed with two men cell/dormitory units, one 4 men cell units, one special needs unit (for medical and mental health), and one special housing unit (for behavioral and classification based). Additional rooms include classrooms, a library and a multimedia room. A hearing room and Judges Chambers were also installed for inmates awaiting trial. Special lighting and plumbing were installed to decrease daily operational costs. Body Worn Cameras were provided for jail staff to record interactions with inmates. New cameras and a new security system were also installed throughout the jail.
