ACC Solid Waste Department - NEW Bulky Waste Program
The Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department is excited to announce the launch of our new Bulky Waste Collection Program, designed to improve service efficiency and provide residents with a more convenient way to dispose of large household items that do not fit in regular garbage or recycling roll-carts. Funded through property taxes the program aims to cut down on illegal dumping, which costs the county over $1 million annually.
Program Start Date: November 3, 2025
You will receive an email within 24 business hours with your date collection.
Who is eligible for Bulky Waste Collection?
