The Lounge Gallery at the Lyndon House Arts Center features quarterly solo exhibitions by emerging artists. Artists in the beginning stages of their careers are invited to show wall-bound works in mediums alternating from drawing to painting to photography to printmaking. 

Maddie Zerkel is an artist from and currently residing in Athens. Maddie graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with a BFA in Fabric Design. Her work is a playful conversation about the relationship between textiles and print. By combining traditional process with new experiments, Maddie investigates common themes of these craft forms, particularly dimensionality and tactility.

This exhibit is free and open to the public.
