SPECIAL WORKSHOP
September 30, Noon - 4pm

In conjunction with this show, Margot Ecke will be leading a book making workshop!
This one day workshop introduces students to the Historic Longstitch book structure, a popular bookbinding structure prevalent in Northern Europe during the 1300s. Due to its flexible nature and decorative stitched spine, this structure has regained popularity, especially for artists and writers, who use these books for sketchbooks and journals. The leather cover adds a rustic feel to the book while the colorful stitching adds sophistication. Students will construct one book during this four hour course.
Registration is required.
