Doing T.I.M.E. in Athens: A Photovoice Experience
January 11 – February 2, 2020
Closing day event on February 8, 2020
The Lyndon House Arts Center is collaborating with Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement and the University of Georgia’s School of Social Work, to host Doing T.I.M.E. (This is My Environment) in Athens: a Photovoice Experience. This youth photography project is organized by Professor Michael Robinson and is funded by the Fahs-Beck Fund for Research & Experimentation.
Photovoice projects are a form of social activism that combine photography, discussion, descriptive text and public exhibits to address community issues.
“The adolescents will be given cameras to take pictures of what they like about their community, what they don’t like, and what would they change,” said Robinson
